Parks Commissioner - complete oversight of meetings, budgets, projects, bids, and spending.
Events - Coordinator and facilitator of Village Events
Previous Events were Village Wide Garage Sale; Village Picnic; Concerts in the Park; Holiday decorating.
Planning Commission Member - responsibility is to advise the Village of Shoreham regarding sound community development. It is required to adopt a Village Master Plan. It also makes recommendations on zoning and other land controls.The membership of the Planning Commission represents different professions and occupations having an interest in the growth and development of the Village. The membership is to include a representation of important segments of the community, such as the economic, governmental, educational, and social development of the Village of Shoreham, with the major interests as they exist such as agriculture, natural resources, recreation, education, public health, government, transportation, industry, andcommerce. Members of the Planning Commission must be residents of the Village of Shoreham.
Zoning Board of Appeals Members - The members selected shall be representative of the population distribution and of the various interests present in the Village. The Zoning Board of Appeals hears questions that arise in administration of the zoning ordinance. The Zoning Board of Appeals makes interpretations of the zoning ordinance, hears variance requests, hears appeals from administrative determinations by zoning officials or bodies and other matters assigned by the zoning ordinance. Applicants must be Village of Shoreham residents.

Elections are handled by St. Joseph Charter Township for the Village.

Interested parties -

The filing deadline for Village Candidates is July 26th at 4pm, with the withdrawal deadline being 4pm on July 29th.

Filing paperwork/packets will be available at the Township Hall beginning on April 1, 2022. These packets will have all of the information including if someone is interested in running (deadlines, forms, websites, etc.) Contact Stephanie Clarke for more information.
